Eligibility Criteria & Detail
The Eligibility Criteria, Age limit, Educational Qualifications are given below for Jharkhand High Court District Judges Recruitment 2024 checkout.
- Qualification : Graduate in Law from a University recognized for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocates
- Experience : More than 7 years at the Bar as a practicing Advocate after having duly enrolled as such.
Age Limit : Above 35 years but below 45 years as on 31 January 2023. The Upper Age limit is relaxable by three years in case of S.C./S.T. candidates.
Selection Process for Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2024
The Selection Process for High Court of Jharkhand Recruitment 2024 based on Preliminary Entrance Test, Main Examination, Viva-Voce Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Preliminary Entrance Test : The Test will be 100 Marks, and Duration of Test shall be of Two (2) Hours. The Preliminary Test shall consist of :-
- General English
- General Knowledge (Including Current Affairs)
- C.P.C
- Cr.P.C
- Cr.P.C and Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
- Evidence Act and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.
- Law of Contract.
- IPC and Bhartiya Nayaya Sanhita, 2023
Main Examination : The Main Examination shall consist of :-
- Paper-I (Total 100 Marks)
- Part -I Language (English) – 50 Marks
- Part -II (50 Marks)- Procedure Law, Law of Evidence, Law of Limitation.
- Paper – II, Substantive Law – 100 Marks
Viva- Voce Teat : There shall be Viva- Voce Test of 40 marks.
