The date for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2021-22) has been announced by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

This year’s exam will be held on November 28th, according to the published schedule.

At the same time, the exam registration process will begin on August 4th 2021.

Interested candidates can apply online till September 15 on the CAT 2021 official website.

Admit card for CAT 2021-22

Admit card for CAT 2021 will be issued on October 27 2021.

The exam will be held in three sessions, according to the announcement.

On October 27, admit cards will be distributed, and they will be available until November 28.

The exam will be held this year by IIM Ahmedabad.

A registration fee of Rs 1100 would be charged to applicants from the SC, ST, and PWD categories.

For all other categories of candidates, the fee has been set at Rs 2200.

Who can give CAT 2021-22?

CAT Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants for the exam must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.

Aside from that, students in their last year of graduation who are awaiting results can apply for this exam.

The CAT examination will be held in 158 places across the country.

Candidates will be able to choose from six different exam cities in order of preference.

Is CAT held twice a year?

NO, The CAT is not held twice a year. The CAT examination is conducted only once a year.

It is CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) exam that is conducted twice a year.

Is CAT compulsory for MBA?

CAT is NOT compulsory for MBA but recommended. However, to get into IIMs you have to CAT.

CAT score-card is accepted by all the IIMs and other B-schools for admission to MBA.

You can also opt for other MBA entrance exams based on your preference for the respective B-school.
